been continually cultivated and conditioned to the harsh hawaiian
sunlight since 1985. This starian of Arthrospira platensis naturally
produces elevated levels of carotenoids and phycobiliproteins as
an adaptive mechanism.
To
minimise the damaging oxidation of the caratones that occurs in
standard dryers Hawaiian Pacifica Spirulina uses ocean chill drying.
This process utilises vwey cold ocean water drawn from 600 metre
depths just offshore to provide dehumidification at extrely low
oxygen levels. This dries the spirulina in less than six seconds,
retaining up to 3 times the beta-carotene of other brands plus unique
enzymes.
